Debut in the L'Oréal Brandstorm global finals

Each year, the L’Oréal Group challenges students from all over the world to develop new concepts for its brands. And for the first time, a team of our Masters in Marketing Management students reached the world finals. Matthias Boterbergh, Eline De Meyer and Diego Bradt competed against 40 other teams at the company’s Paris headquarters – even though they didn’t win, it was a huge achievement.

A SUCCESSFUL EVENT CELEBRATING ALL THINGS HR 

On June 14 we welcomed 540 HR professionals to the 15th edition of our annual HR Day. Over 100 people joined us for a pre-event dinner on our Brussels campus – and on the day itself, around 30 faculty members and guest speakers took to the stage to present, give speeches and run workshops. AGC JUNIOR MANAGERS TAKE THE JUMP 

For the eighth time, AGC Glass Europe is sending a select group of junior managers on its Junior University Management Programme (JUMP) at Vlerick. This customised programme lays the foundations for the company’s leadership and is a cornerstone of its training. Barbara Mayor, Learning and Development Manager, says: “The academic and sometimes out-of-the-box learning experience equips our managers with the skills that are needed for agile leadership in our rapidly changing environment.”
